We are raising money for Havens Hospices, a wonderful charity that provides respite breaks, symptom control and end-of-life care for adults and children living with life-limiting illnesses or conditions.  Havens Hospices does all it can to make a patient's journey and that of their family as comfortable as possible, even creating special memories along the way.
 
For the year 10/11, it will cost a total of £5.2 million to ensure Havens can continue caring for local adults, children and their families, so we are doing our bit to help them continue to provide their vital services.
 
We will be running 13.1 miles in London's 'Run to the Beat' half marathon, a course that begins and ends at the O2 arena. It's a really challenging route, with much of it uphill (eek!) and it will be your support that pushes us on.
