I had been thinking for a long time how could I combine a cycling challenge with charity fund raising, so when Darren (from Seamons Cycle Club) suggested the Manchester to Blackpool ride , I jumped at the opportunity.

Supporting Christies is the ideal choice for me, not just because of Darren's story (http://www.justgiving.com/SeamonsCC ), but mainly because it's association with my family.

When Dad was diagnosed with cancer, he went for his treatment at Christies and through their excellent care, he was cured. It's due to them, that he is still cycling around the UK himself !!!

So please give generously to help the work at Christies
