WE DID IT!!! IN A TIME OF 23 HOURS 35 MINUTES!!!!!!!

LAST YEAR MY SISTER LOST HER HUSBAND, JASON, TO ILLNESS AGED 33, LEAVING HER WITH THEIR 2 YEAR OLD TWINS - HARRY AND ROSIE (now just turned 3yrs). FORTUNATELY THE FAMILY HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RALLY AROUND IN SUPPORT.  IN MANY SIMILAR SITUATIONS SUCH DIRECT SUPPORT IS NOT ALWAYS POSSIBLE.    ON THE 12TH AUGUST  MY BROTHER AND I WILL BE DOING THE 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE TO RAISE MONEY FOR WINSTON'S WISH - A CHARITY WHICH HELPS THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN LIVE WITH LOSS FOLLOWING THE DEATH OF THEIR MUM DAD BROTHER OR SISTER.

The National Three Peaks walk involves climbing the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales. These are Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon respectively. Different people will take different periods of time to do the 3 peaks. Those who are brave, noble, or just plain stupid, try to do all 3 within the space of 24 hours - The Three Peaks Challenge.
