Fundraising for Mental Health Foundation

Hi!
I have chosen to raise money for the Mental Health Foundation because Diane (my wife) suffers from bi-polar disorder.
This disorder has been very challenging to our family over the years but we have learnt to live with it and have managed to bring up 4 beautiful children.
Living through and coming to terms with a mental health disorder is a long journey, but it's worth persevering! Now Diane actively researches the causes and treatments and knows how to manage her changing moods and life is normal. She couldn't have done this without the help of the mental health organisations who have patiently supported her. Mental health disorders don't generally gain sympathy amongst the population at large because the disorder isn't understood unless people have direct experience of it.
