Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.  I am running my first ever marthon next year and have been lucky enough to get a place in the London Marathon.    I am raising money for two charities that mean a lot to me WaterAid and the Bobby Moore Fund.  

So why did i choose WaterAid?     Well as an academic who works in the area of water treatment and supply, WaterAid is the natural charity to support as its mission is to overcome poverty by enabling the world's poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education.     Details of the my Bobby Moore Fund page can be found at http://www.justgiving.com/simonparsonsbobbymoore - if you are undecided why not split a donation between the two. 

Well I am nearly there.  Ive ran 430 miles since January  training for the 26.2 ive got to do next week.  Looking forward to the event so keep your eyes on the television!
