The Tarts’ Treasure Hunt
The Tarts’ Treasure Hunt is a gay romp around Soho to raise money for the Terrence Higgins Trust on 23rd February 2007.
Despite the fall in the HIV infection rate amongst gay men in the late 1980s and early 1990s, new diagnoses in 2005/6 reached record levels in the London area. This has been primarily caused by an increase in unsafe sex practices. HIV Support Charities desperately need additional funds to help raise awareness and promote safe sex in London’s gay community.
This is where you can help.
On Saturday 23rd February there is a Treasure Hunt in Soho to raise money for The Terrence Higgins Trust.
The Terrence Higgins Trust is an organisation committed to a world where people with HIV live healthy lives free from prejudice and discrimination, and good sexual health is a right and reality for all.
All you need to do is set aside 2 to 3 hours on the afternoon of Saturday 23rd February for you and your mates to take part in a fun Treasure Hunt. There will prizes for the winners and for the most elaborately attired participants.
Entry will be £10 with all proceeds going to the THT. However, please feel free to contribute more, or to raise sponsorship by wearing a daring costume or doing the Treasure Hunt 3 legged.
I look forward to seeing you all on the 23rd February.
