Fundraising for Zurich Community Trust (UK) Ltd
Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
This year I am cycling from Lands End to John O'Groates (over 1,000 miles), on my own, in order to raise funds for Starlight Children's Foundation via Openwork's Cares4Kids programme.
Why Starlight?
Starlight brightens the lives of seriously and terminally ill children in order to take their minds off the pain, fear and isolation of their illness and to help strengthen their family bonds during difficult times. When it began in 1987, the charity helped just 4 children; this year Starlight will help 500,000 children by granting their wishes and providing entertainment in virtually every hospital and hospice throughout the UK.
This adventure will be extremely challenging, both physically and mentally, and it would be great to know that at the end of it , with your help, we would have managed to raise a significant amount of money that can make a difference to so many children.
Why Zurich Community Trust (UK) Ltd?
By chosing Zurich's own Community Trust I hope to be able to raise additional monies that can be allocated to Starlight and hopefully reach my ambitious target.
