I know that I said last year that I would never ever do this again, but clearly I'm off my rocker, because here we are again getting ready to start training for the 2009 Playtex Moonwalk.

The Moonwalk is an overnight marathon, thats 26.2 miles, thats 42km for those that work in metric! overnight, through the centre of London. The only good news is that you aren't allowed to run, its power walking only.

As last year we will be doing this wearing just our bras! This year though the bras will be bigger, better, and illuminated!!!!!

All of the money raised in sponsorship will go to the Charity Walk the Walk, they are a grant making charity funding research into the causes and treatment of cancer as well as the support of cancer patients.

This year the team will consist of My wife Jacquie, my mother in law Pauline and my sister in law Sarah, all of whom will be giving their blood sweat and wobbly bits in aid of this brilliant cuase.

Last year we finished the event in a very respectable 8 hours 20 minutes, and thanks to all of you, I raised an amazing £250 for this worthwhile cause. This year I would like to beat both those targets, I am aiming to raise £500 and complete the walk in under 7 hours. Thats going to require a lot more training than last year, so please dig deep and keep me walking through the horrendous Manchester weather.
