22nd October was our Sportsmans Dinner event, a big thank you to all involved in organising and those that attended, it was an amazing success, raising far more than we had hoped. Watch this space for our target figure to go up and up and up, hopefully bursting over the 100% mark!!!!
Well done, Peter, Scott & Dimitri for completing the Coast to Coast (C2C) cycle route which runs from Whitehaven on the west coast of to the North East coast at . Not the easiest of routes and true to your team name I'm sure it was worth the suffering of the 'sore botties'. Awesome achievement, 18 brave explorers set off and thankfully 18 returned from the Hellvelyn circular mountain walk (11.5k),ridges of Striding Edge & Swirral Edge. 'Walk' was maybe a slight untruth, as in places feet, hands & knees were required to ascend and bums proved helpful for descending. Thankfully the weather was as kind to us as those that have sponsored the team, raising in excess of £2000.
A long 10 hours later and Donna’s little legs reached the final steps of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge. An amazing achievement, bringing in well over £150.
