I came, I ran, I conquered!!!
I have done it, I ran London and I finished in a respectable time of 3:40:53. It was hard, I was aching all over but I reached the finished line. Ty Hafan's mission is to improve the quality of life of children with life threatening disorders and their families in Wales by providing a high standard of respite and palliative care. Importantly, this is engendered in a caring, therapeutic and family atmosphere without cost to the families involved.
As you can see from their very high, annual, running costs, Ty Hafan needs all the money it can get. Most of this money is from donations from companies and individuals taking part in sponsored events, such as myself running London Marathon. Without these kind donations the Hospice would struggle to remain open and continue providing high quality care for the children.
