Four lads from Skelton are going to take on the challenging Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu in Peru, in order to raise funds for Cancer Research. 

Most people have in some way been affected by cancer, and the more money we can raise, the more chance they have of finding a cure.

We will be carrying out numerous fundraising events over the next year to achieve our target, and we will update this page with each event.

Personal Statements

Jordan- I am taking on this challenge to raise the funds for cancer research, as I have seen the devastating effects cancer has on families. After recently becoming a father, I want to do everything I can to protect my daughters future. If our challenge helps fund research that leads to a cure for cancer, she will not have to experience the suffering and loss cancer causes.

Craig- I am taking on this challenge as I have recently lost my mam to Cancer, and the effects on my family and friends have been devastating. We are a very close family and the loss has deeply affected us all. I have two young daughters, who have had to go through the pain of losing their nana, which was something a father should never have to deal with.

I want to do everything I can to try and prevent anyone else going through this traumatic experience, and raising money for Cancer research is the best way of doing this.

Stacey- As I have grown up through life I have seen loved ones lost and suffer to this terrible illness and hope one day they will be a cure, so all I ask is be generous and kind and donate to the cause to defeat this ...Thank you

Darren- As a community we have all been affected by cancer and I’ve lost close family and friends to this horrible illness hopefully 1 day we will find a cure and I just want to do my bit in the fight against it.
