My story
Sky Velo is riding La Marmotte, the daddy of european cyclo sportives, to support Team Sky rider Alex Dowsett and the Haemophilia Society / World Heamophila Federation.
All Sky Velo members riding La Marmotte will be asked to make a personal contribution and ask friends and family to support this great cause.
Alex suffers from severe type A Heamophilia and wants to use his platform as a Team Sky rider to raise awareness of the disease and projects to support sufferers worldwide.

Haemophilia and related disorders affect around 15,000 people in the UK and occur in all racial groups; while von Willebrand's affects up to 1% of the total population, many of whom are currently undiagnosed. The charity aims to ensure that affected people and their families receive the best possible treatment, care and support.
