Story
Welcome to the Solo Sprint - Columbus Discovery II Project.
It's about 500 Years since the first Atlantic crossing by Christopher Columbus and now a British man is planning to row solo across the Atlantic to claim a new world record. Businessman and adventurer David Clarke aims to be the first Englishman to both row and sail solo across the Atlantic, unsupported, following the Christopher Columbus Trade-Wind route. In a boat smaller than the average family car.
Solo Sprint is proud to work in partnership with SportsAid, as our designated Charity. Dave and the Solo Sprint Team are passionate about helping young people to be successful; a common goal shared with SportsAid.
With your support and sponsorship, we aim to undertake this amazing challenge, making this a unique and historic event as well as raising much needed funds for SportsAid.
We hope that you will join us in this amazing feat of strength, stamina, skill and endurance to create a new record and more importantly raise a high level of awareness for Sports Aid.
Our Amazing Journey Starts in January 2008, please give all you can in support of this amazing feat of strength, stamina, skill and endurance.
