Story
After a sell-out concert last year that raised £2,500 for The Good Grief Trust, Songs for Jeremy is back.
Songs for Jeremy is a concert in memory of Jeremy Shalka who sadly lost his battle to cancer in 2010, aged 44. The concert will feature a band and a range of West End performers and friends who have kindly given up their time to celebrate the life of Jeremy and also raise money for The Good Grief Trust. The concert will have a narrative running through it which will also tell a bit about Jeremy’s life from beginning to end. Expect some laughs along the way in what will be a very touching evening.
The Good Grief Trust is run for the bereaved by the bereaved, offering help to people after loss to find the right support for them.
The concert will be hosted by Jeremy’s daughter Katie Shalka and will feature cast members from Hamilton, Les Miserables, Aladdin, Miss Saigon, Hadestown, Little Shop of Horrors, The Book of Mormon, West Side Story, and Six (with more to be announced) as well as very talented friends from The Brit School and London School of Musical Theatre.
