Story

PEMBROKESHIRE CHALLENGE replacing Petra Challenge

in memory of Jonathan O'Neill September 1963 - March 2023

In March 2023 Jonathan O'Neill passed away at St Richard's Hospice after battling cancer for several years. Although he was there for less than a day, the care he received in his final hours alongside the support provided to our family was without fault.

In memory of him - Karen (wife), Sophie (daughter), Annie (daughter), Tristan (son), Charles (son-in-law) and Jonny (brother-in-law) - will be walking 136 miles along the Pembrokeshire Coastal path over the course of eight days beginning on March 16th. This part of Wales is a place very close to our hearts as we have spent such happy family holidays in both Broad Haven and Little Haven over the past eight years.

It will be heads down against the wind and the rain and hopefully heads up to face the sunshine as we progress through the beautiful landscape listening to the waves, the seagulls and our fond memories.

We are thankful for all sponsorship and as indicated - our fundraising total will be in recognition of the wonderful support provided to Jon, his family and many others like us.

Thank you for reading and donating.

Karen, Sophie, Charles, Annabel, Tristan and Jonny.

This challenge replaces our initial plan to trek to Petra.
