Despite a small miscalculation of the route length (its was 300 miles not 300km!), Ged Mason and I and 48 of our new closest friends made it to Paris on Saturday afternoon. Other than having to walk at a few big hills, I pedaled all the way.

Thanks very much to all who pledged sponsorship last week.. If anyone still wants to sponsor me that would be great. I got to know a few of the teachers from Zambia last week. The work that the U Foundation does is very important to them and their pupils. You may be interested to know that many young children walk at least 15 miles, both ways, to primary schools in Zambia; Adult life expectancy is only 32 years. This is mainly due to Aids/HIV and more importantly the lack of education on how to avoid these diseases. The U foundation will help build schools and educate the next generation on all subjects including how to stay healthy.
