Story

For those who know me, you'll be aware that I'm studying Civil Engineering at the moment, so this is a charity close to my heart.

Engineers Against Poverty is a fantastic charity which works with industry, government and civil society to fight poverty and promote sustainable development around the world. As you've probably worked out, they use Engineering skills and expertise to be able to come up with new initiatives to achieve their vision of a world without poverty and inequality.

Take a look at EAP's website to see more about the great work they do:

This September I am doing a sponsored skydive to raise money for this charity. I'm putting on a brave face now... but I know when I'm being told to jump from that plane, a long, LONG way from terra firma, I will be a nervous wreck to say the least! Hopefully I will survive and won't crash into a tree. I'm not the most co-ordinated person in the world!

Don't let me jump 13000ft for no good reason- please help me raise some money!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, guys, and I hope you will support me, and Engineers Against Poverty!
