Donating through JustGiving will be directed to the amazing charity of Help for Heroes. While we enjoy the luxuries of home our men and women of the armed forces are risking there lives on the frontline and taking on life changing injuries which most of us can not imagine.

The current focus for the charity is to create a series of regional Recovery Houses to be built across the UK and serve as the last stage of rehabilitation before a serviceman, or woman, returns to their unit or transits back into civilian life.

Robert Tweddle, Sean Johnson and myself will be kayaking from the Swiss Alps down the Rhine river to Rotterdam, from there will will paddle down the European coast until we hit a suitable crossing point to make the journey across the English Channel and up the River Thames to finish at the London Eye, a total of around 1000 miles. While passing through 7 countries we will expose our charity and help bring much needed attention to our military heroes.

We are Ex Royal Marines and raising money for this charity is very close to our hearts.
