Story
We have undertaken this task in memory of a wonderful son, brother and friend to us all. He was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in August 2005 which was a major shock to us all.
Stephen was a fanatical fan and had never missed a West Bromwich Albion game for 12 years until his diagnosis in August 2005. Due to treatment for the disease he was restricted with the games that he was able to attend up until he passed away in August 2006.
In memory of Stephen, we have visited the 92 league clubs between 15th April 2007 and 27th April 2007, travelling nearly 3000 miles, obtaining memorabilia from many clubs, which will be auctioned to raise further funds.
Stephen was a much loved fan, whether by other fans or players alike, often watching other football teams around the country, as long as he could watch 90 minutes of football, irrespective of the level at which it was being played.
Our intention is to raise as much as possible for this charity, as the help and support we have received from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at Birmingham, was, and still is excellent.
