Story

On Saturday 13th June 2009, a group of 4 ladies – known as the Crossways’ Falling Angels - will be jumping out of a perfectly serviceable aircraft (we hope!) somewhere high over the Honiton area. We will each be undertaking a tandem parachute jump to raise funds on behalf of the 'Crossways New Church Centre for the Community' Project.

Crossways, our home village, is a fast growing community of over 2000 people which currently does not have a church building.  The planned new building will provide an invaluable facility for the whole community. Planning permission has been granted and now a total of £700,000 has to be raised, with the local community committed to raising £100,000.

Please consider sponsoring us for this worthwhile cause. Let’s face it, it’s probably the only time some of us are going to be called an angel!

Thank you!

About the charity

Crossways in Dorset does not have a church building. Services for the congregation of 40+ are held each week in the Youth Centre. Woodsford PCC has undertaken to build a church and community centre. A site has been identified and planning permission obtained. Funding is required to build the church.
