Story
Star 100 UK + AfriKids
In 2009, through direct donations, Star 100 UK supported AfriKids by contributing £1000 to the construction of a new wing on the AfriKids Medical Centre in Northern Ghana. In July 2010, ten members (and friends) are rode 60 miles from London to Cambridge with the aim of surpassing the amount raised last year. Please support us reach our target by sponsoring us ... THERE IS STILL TIME.
Ninety percent of funds raised will go to AfriKids and ten percent to the official race charity, Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Why AfriKids ... well ... unlike some charities, AfriKids works hard to make their projects sustainable. In fact, AfriKids UK is committed to transferring all control to Ghana by 2018.
