Story
Thank you for visiting the fundraising page for Stefan Usansky.
The irrepressible “Stef” started his bookselling career at the Manchester branch of university booksellers’ Haigh & Hochland in the early 1960s. In 1972 he joined Wiley as Sales Representative and worked in a number of sales management roles until his retirement in 2004. He will be remembered with great affection by his many friends throughout Wiley as a wonderful mentor and teacher. His irresistible warmth and good humour enriched our professional and personal lives. And beyond Wiley, Stef was loved and respected by booksellers and publishers alike, many of whom were in regular contact with him during his long and courageous fight with cancer.
It was Stef’s specific wish that the Macmillan nurses would be recognised for the fantastic support they gave him and we are proud to be raising money for this great cause.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. Macmillan Cancer Support gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
If you’re a Wiley colleague, please put Wiley in brackets after your name as the company will be matching funds. For further information please contact Philip Kisray or Julia Lampam.
Thank you for your support which will be appreciated by his brother Dan and sons Mark and Nick.
