We provide wheelchairs and equipment to improve lives of young wheelchair users

Story

On 2nd September 2009 I'll be starting off to cycle from London to Paris - about 320 miles over 4 days! Might be a bit tough to say the least!

In doing so, I'm raising money for Whizz-Kidz, who do amazing work for children who are severely disabled by providing them with mobility equipment to enable them to live life to it's fullest.

I would like to raise as much as possible so I really need your help!

Who are Whizz-Kidz?

Whizz-Kidz is a charity that is all about giving disabled children and young people the independence to enjoy an active childhood – at home, at school and at play.

Whizz Kidz focus on each disabled child’s individual needs, taking into account their clinical, social, educational and developmental needs - all of which are important in any young person’s life. Being independent and in control of when and where you want to go takes young disabled people from isolation to inclusion and gives them the chance to enjoy a more active childhood and realise their true potential

Over 70,000 disabled children in the UK could benefit from a customised wheelchair or other type of mobility equipment. The right wheelchair at the right time means a disabled child can go out and play with friends, go to mainstream schools, take part in sport and fully participate in family life.
