'A tale of two and two halfs' is exactly what it is. In 2015, I aim to run 2 full marathons and 2 half marathons with the aim of raising money for some wonderful causes.

I first came across the Fountain Centre when I started working at St Luke's Cancer Centre, Royal Surrey County Hospital in August 2014. It was by visiting the centre and talking to many patients undergoing radiotherapy treatment, that I was able to see the great work the charity does and how much benefit it provides.

The Fountain Centre is a charity for cancer patients, their families and carers and they offer advice, counselling and a huge range of complementary therapies, in a calming and relaxed atmosphere.

They are an independent charity and therefore rely on the generosity of our volunteers and donors and those who support our fundraising events to keep going – which costs nearly £200,000 every year.
