Story
Perhaps foolishly given my fear of heights, I'm taking part in a zip wire challenge off Tyne Bridge on Sunday. A 90m drop from bridge to quayside, likely most of it screaming in embarrassing fashion.
It's all in a good cause - to help St Cuthbert's Hospice in Durham, details of which you can see below left. It's a valuable charity for many people in a very difficult time of their lives, so let's pitch in and help them out.
I'm paying for the cost of the slide - so every penny you donate goes direct to the hospice and not to subsidise my moments of terror!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Cuthbert's Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
