I really did not think that I would have a page for this Marathon.

Over recent years I seem to be setting more and more challenges, one of the things that I have always thought about is doing a Marathon. I do not know why, deep down I think running a Marathon is stupid.

Anyway a good friend of mine contacted me about 6 weeks ago and said that there was a possibility of getting places for the Athens Classic marathon which was the 2500 aniversery of the battle of Marathon where an Athenian ran the 40km to anounce victory. Unfortunately he then died.

Anyway all that is history, I did not broadcast the fact that I might be doing this silly thing as I really did not think that I would manage it.

But I did, and it was horrible, well slightly worse than that, so please donate
