***UPDATE***

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online. Please continue to contribute to our £3000 target!!

There are three events that you can sponsor, via this page (please just state which in your comments):

1) Steve is doing a 400Km sponsored bike ride in Kenya with other REGAIN fundraisers and four tetraplegic cyclists, from 19th November, in Kenya. Within Royal Mail Steve has been joined by two teams of fundraisers: 2) The Gym Challenge team will each 'burn' 2500 kcals at a single gym session on 31st August 2005, at Coton House Gym, Rugby. ***COMPLETED*** 3)The Weight Loss Team (10 in 10) will complete a weight-loss challenge - to lose a minimum of 10lbs in 10 weeks. Team members names appear on this page (above), and sponsorship that they've earned can also be entered (and benefit from Gift Aid), via this page. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Regain - The Trust For Sports Tetraplegics will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Please choose "SPONSOR US NOW" - unfortunately we can only accept sponsorship upfront for the bike ride - it's a part of the challenge! However we will keep you updated via this page and email. All the Royal Mail fundraisers feel that they should give something back - especially to those unfortunate enough to suffer a sudden, tragic life-changing sporting/leisure accident. When you're an active person you really value your independence, and Regain is there to provide some greatly needed assistance to those who become tetraplegic as a result of a sports injury. You may also enjoy active participation in a sport, know someone who does, or just enjoy sport as a spectator. Please support our efforts to help those who have sustained serious sporting injuries by sponsoring our three events for Regain. Please see www.regainsportscharity.com for further details. Many thanks for your support, and please check back here for news and updates. Steve (07860 930151) & all the Royal Mail Challenge Team members.

About the charity

Regain is the only charitable organisation dedicated solely to improving the independence of all British men & women who have become tetraplegic as a result of a sporting or leisure accident. A tetraplegic is unable to walk and has limited reach & dexterity because use of the arms is severely impaired.
