Thank you for visiting! As you can tell, this is the second Great North Run I'm taking part in. Last year I raised over £600 for Cancer Research UK and this year I'm running in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. 99% of all of its funding is via voluntary donations, so events like the Great North Run are vitally important to them. They do incredible work for people affected by cancer and lessen the impact and stresses from being diagnosed with cancer.
