We raise money to to support sick and premature babies

Story

On the 18th September 2010, The Storks will be cycling from St George's hospital in Tooting to the Queen Alexandra hospital in Portsmouth. The route will be 72 miles in total!

These two hospitals have treated the children of many of our close friends over the last few years. Eva Tozzi was born at St. Georges in March 2007, to help raise money to thank the unit for the care she received, her family’s friends created the Storks Rugby team and friend Ortis Deley became the charity's Patron. One year later Ortis' cousin had twin girls (Ohema and Naana) who were treated in Portsmouth. Late last year, one of The Storks players, Toby Mussell had twin boys who were looked after at Queen Alexandra but also paid a visit to St Georges. Ollie and Tom are doing really well now thanks to the dedication of the staff and the new technology and practices they were able to provide at these specialist units.

The boys riding will be competing to raise as much money as they can for the two units, with 8 raising money for each unit. The team that raises least will be fined in the traditional rugby drinking way!!

Many thanks to the lads who have agreed to ride and huge thanks to you for sponsoring us!

Rob Latchford, James Webb, Dylan Wrixon, James Wall, Steve Lock, Ortis Deley, and Adrian Burne will raise the money for St Georges Hospital
