Hello !

Yes, it is true, I have agreed (foolishly or otherwise) to run the London Marathon in 26th April 2009.  Thoughts of 'things to do you before your 30' springs to mind...

After undertaking some sporadic running in the last months of 2008 (my dedicated preparation), I now have a plan that aims to get me round the 26 mile route in under 4 hours...I just need to run 560 miles between now and the race day!

Thank you for coming to look at my fundraising page.  Your support means a lot to me and Disability Challengers and any funds you donate will be put to a worthy cause.

Disability Challengers support children with any form of physical, learning or sensory impairment. They provide a wide range of fun and challenging activities for children of all abilities. This can mean full time one-to-one support for some children. Above all they provide lots of fun. Their main base is in Guildford and they run projects throughout the whole of the south east. Please visit www.disability-challengers.org to find out more about the invaluable work they do.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Disability Challengers gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Please sponsor me!

And come watch me on the day !  (or at least in the pub afterwards...somehow I have to try reduce my alcohol intake until Race Day, which means a lot of catching up to do...!)

I am more than happy to double my sponsorship if you run in either A - a suit of armour or B - a full Spurs kit , just let me know if we have a deal! Donation by JP on 26/01/09
