Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Friends and Family I have never taken part in a run of this stage before so any amount of support towards MSH will give me the drive to complete it. The Great South Run is a 16K run around the streets of my old stomping ground of Portsmouth.......i'm sure i will view it in a different light after this!

Michael Sobell house in Northwood is run by some amazing people who provide the highest standards of care for patients and give support to the patients family and friends.

Why donate to Michael Sobell House

  • Michael Sobell House cares for people with terminal or life limiting illnesses.  All treatment is given free of charge.

  • Many aspects of patient care at Michael Sobell House would not exist without fundraising and voluntary contributions from individuals, community groups, companies, charitable trusts and legacies.

  • Funding from charitable sources must reach an annual target of £1.2 million to maintain patient care.

  • The charity funds the entire cost of the Day Therapies Unit, Outreach at Home Service, Research, Education, Complementary Therapies and Counseling services. The 16 bed in-patient unit also receives significant support from the charity.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Friends Of Michael Sobell House gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
