Story
YG is a countywide charity that supports marginalized and vulnerable young people (aged 11-25) who are facing complex challenges in their lives.
YG works with young people from the most challenging of backgrounds providing a variety of programmes of education, training, opportunities and support which give young people the confidence, motivation and skills to improve their own lives by finding employment, entering training or returning to education. Their new programme seeks to improve the physical and mental-heath of young people across Gloucestershire who have been impacted so much by CV19.
Using outdoor activities, nature and sport, we aim to provide opportunities for disadvantaged young people in Gloucestershire to improve their own wellbeing through physical activity while simultaneously addressing their mental and emotional needs.
We support young people facing life challenges, including disruptive home lives, drug and alcohol dependencies, care-leavers, academic underachievers, parents/carers, offenders, refugees, asylum seekers, and those coping with mental health conditions. We support them to get their lives back on track
