We train rural health workers to provide emergency dental care

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year I visited the Hope Dental Centre in Mwanza, Tanzania where I spent a month training local Dental Nurses to work with Bridge2aid not only giving the locals access to dental treatment but training up people in very rural villages to be able to provide dental treatment for thousands of very poor people. For further information visit their website WWW.bridge2aid.org

I am hoping to return this year in August with my partner where we will continue to provide our support. So We are trying to raise money  for our flights to get us to Mwanza to be able to give further training.

UPDATE!!!!!!

Well the walk is over, many thanks to all for the messges of support and especially to Kiwi, Sam and Matt for walking the route with us!!!!!!! Not long now till we go, you have all been very generous, but if you find a copper or two going spare it will all be going to a good cause!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, the money will be used to pay for our flights to Mwanza and any extra will go directly to the charity. Make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

The work that Bridge2aid does is vital to the local community, and they rely heavily on the volunteers that use their own time to travel to Mwanza to help. All donations will be most gratefully received!
