Story

Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraising page

After over 6 months of fundraising, planning, buying gear and training, my sister and I have finally completed our Mt Kilimanjaro Challenge!

After a shaky start to the trip........riots in Nairobi and the BA flight crash landing at Heathrow , we finally made it to Tanzania!
The trek started on the Sunday morning up the mountain and we made it to the top at 7.30 Thursday morning (5861m).
We were walking 7-8hrs each day and on the summit day we walked for 20hrs out of 28hrs!

Thank you to everybody who has helped me achieve this, I could not have done this without your support.
There were a total of 15 trekkers on the trip and as group we have raised over £72K for VSO which is going to go a long way in helping the poorest countries in the world.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Voluntary Service Overseas will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

I would be really grateful if you could sponsor me now and would appreciate any donation, no matter how large or small.

Many thanks for your support.
