Story

UK Medical Aid to Pakistan is raising urgent funds to support the education of 150 village children living in Sujawal District in Sindh.

Due to COVID-19, the local charity that funds three village schools in Sujawal is unable to carry out their usual fundraising efforts. The 150 students that attend these schools now face the prospect of losing access to education.

To help them get through this pandemic, we are raising enough funds so these schools can meet their basic running costs for the next 6 months. These funds will cover teacher salaries, books, stationery and general maintenance.

Please donate to help us support these schools so they can survive these challenging times. Just a £20 donation can help us educate approx 50 children for a week.

About the charity

Since the 2005 earthquakes we have been the UK’s primary charity working exclusively on healthcare initiatives in Pakistan for those in most desperate need. Together we supply clean water to rural areas, fund medical qualifications, work to halt the spread of hepatitis & provide emergency aid.
