This year I'm raising money for a charity called Back-Up, who help people with spinal cord injury resulting in paralysis.  They offer a varitey of services, from mentoring and wheelchair training, through to adventure/sporting activity trips, with the aim of building back some of their patients' confidence.  The charity receives no government funding, but are still "committed to never turning away a spinally injured patient due to financial reasons".   In the words of one person who has been helped by them:  "What Back-Up offers is beyond your wildest imagination when you are lying in a hospital having been told you will never walk again.” 

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.  Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate, and it means more money is raised for the charity.

So please dig deep and help me raise some much needed funding for this very worthy cause.  Every little counts...
