In 2006 and 2007 I ran the London marathon for the Lords Taverners to help them raise money for minibuses to take disabled children to sports events.  This year I managed to get a place for the London Marathon via the ballot so I am able to choose a charity closer to home, Queens Park Community School.  This is a very large secondary school ten minutes from us where James and Patrick go.  The school is raising money for a minibus, maybe even two, to take students to and from sporting events as well as other activities. I thought that since I am subjecting myself to running another 26.2 miles I might as well help them with this fund raising.  There will be other events at the school but my bid to kick off the fund raising is this.  So thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
