Dear Friends,

On June 29th, the day after I have sailed around the Isle of Wight in the 2008 J. P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race, a group of us led by Professor Roger Kirby will embark on a Three Day Walk around the Island in aid of prostate research.  It is 69 miles.

Day One: Shanklin to Gurnard (24 miles).  Day Two: Gurnard to Freshwater Bay (24 miles).  Day Three: Freshwater to Shanklin (21 miles).

I am doing it for three reasons: for Kit, to raise more funds and to raise awareness.  35,000 men a year are diagnosed with prostate cancer, 10,000 of them needlessly lose their lives.  Please help us to help them.  Every penny from the walk will go to prostate research.
