Story
Julian Rowland (Medical Records Department, Withybush General Hospital) and Suzanne Morris (Rheumatology Clinical Nurse Specialist at Withybush Hospital) are running the Cardiff Half Marathon to raise funds for two special causes…
Sue Rowland died following a brain haemorrhage on 25th September 2006. Sue was a dedicated member of the out-patient nursing team at Withybush and regularly assisted in rheumatology clinics. Her son Julian, also works to support rheumatology clinics through the medical records department. Her family, friends and colleagues are raising funds to provide a quiet room in the department in memory of Sue. The room will be used for those who are in need of privacy
The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) is the only UK charity dedicated to support people who suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis. Suzanne is the Welsh Advisor to NRAS and sees the role of the charity as vital in supporting sufferers of this potentially crippling condition. Pembrokeshire has the only active NRAS group in Wales. Their role is to support people locally and nationally through telephone contact, campaign for local and national issues affecting rheumatology services and provide a wide variety of useful information to sufferers, friends and family.
Sponsoring us through this site ensures that your donation will go entirely to the NRAS. If you would prefer to make your donation to be split equally between the two causes or directly to Sue's Trust then please email your details to Suzanne at:

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
