Story

Hi Everyone,

I am running the London Marathon again in 2009, this time to raise money for the Spinal Injuries Association.

My friend Jo Dalziel's nephew Jack Smith broke his neck at the begining of 2008 whilst playing rugby. He was just 16 at the time and a promising young sportsman. He is paralysed from the waist down and is confined to a wheelchair and has only minimal use of his arms. The SIA has provided great help and support to him and his family and will continue to do so throughout his rehabilitation. I would be most grateful if you could sponsor me to help raise the funds they need to continue their fantastic work.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Spinal Injuries Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
