Story
First of all, many thanks for visiting the Teams fundraising page.
This years SW Charity Bike ride will involve the 16 Sanderson Weatherall volunteers yet again crossing the country - but this time on the brand spanking new 160 (or so!) mile Way of the Roses cycle route; from the east coast resort of Bridlington in Yorkshire to Morecambe on the west coast of Lancashire, on what will no doubt prove be another three long days in the saddle! You can learn more about the route by visiting http://www.wayoftheroses.info and by following this link to a recent article that appeared in The Guardian: http://www.guardian.co.uk/travel/2010/jul/24/new-coast-to-coast-cycle .
The 2010 team members are: John Goodchild; Richard Farr, Robert Patterson, Matt Clarke, Bob Fletcher, the boy Tubbsy, Dave Murray, Nick Heap, Simon Heather, Liz McLoughlin, Sarah Ross , Jonny White, Lee Sanderson, Chris Grose, Claire Coyne and James Reynolds.
The riders will be raising money for this years chosen charities. The Alzheimers Society will receive 75% of the total amount raised - and you can read a little about the good work they do to the left hand side of this page. The additional 25% of the overall total will go to the David Mather Foundation (this will be shown below as the amount raised 'off-line').
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and secure. It's also efficient - The Dreams Come True Charity will get your money fast and, if you are a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid plus a 3% supplement are added to your donation.
So please donate to the team now!!!!
