Story
On 12th December 11, we will be conducting a 24 hour long Tactical Advance to Battle (TAB) carrying 15 kilos of weight to raise money for Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEHB) Birmingham Military Wing. QEBH is the first port of call for our injured troops returning from operations, and it is desperately under-funded and in need of financial support.
All funds go directly to providing the best possible treatment and after care to our injured Hero's returning from the front line.
We will be starting on 12th December at 5 o'clock, in two teams. One will TAB for two hours (covering 8 miles), then the other team will take over. At the end we should have covered roughly 96 miles (the equivilent of walking from Birmingham to Manchester), finishing at 5 o'clock on 13th December.
The time of the event coincides with the end of the working day in the UK. The reason for timing the event is to show that although 5 o'clock is the usual end of the working day within the UK, deployed troops will still be out on the ground risking their lives.
So please, dig deep, and donate to a worthy cause and help our injured troops!
