Story
Right.
A few of the gang here at Corrymeela Ballycastle have gotten together to run the marathon relay and to raise money towards enabling a volunteer from El Salvidor, or another developing country, to join next years' volunteer team.
Every £5 we raise symbolises a step towards our goal and is represented by a paper shoe which we will add to our race course on your behalf. The more shoes we have the closer we get to our target. The race course is a visual representation of our financial goal and commences in reception and runs down the hallway at our Corrymeela Centre.
So you're invited to help us take a figurative if not a literal "step" towards making a year full of "laugh-till-you-cry volunteering" possible. Feel free to purchase one shoe or a few!
Cheers!
