Stroud Half Marathon · 3 October 2008

MS-UK is here to support anyone affected by multiple sclerosis (MS), which affects over 150,000 people in the UK. We empower people with MS to live healthier and happier lives by improving the understanding of the condition and providing support where it is needed most.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On Sunday 26th October, I will be running in the Stroud Half Marathon as one of "Higgy's Heroes".

Who is Higgy?

Alastair Hignell aka Higgy is an ex-England Rugby back, played cricket for Gloucestershire and until recently was a Radio Five Live Rugby Commentator.

Alastair is also Patron of the Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre - a national charity committed to supporting anyone affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Alastair was diagnosed with MS in 1999.

Higgy's Heroes are running the Stroud Half Marathon to raise funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre and also to raise awareness about MS, so did deep and sponsor me now!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thanks for your support
