Story
HELLO!!!
Having visited one of the projects supported by USPG , seeing the life saving work they are involved in I have decided to run the London marathon this year for USPG. It is my first attempt at running a marathon. I am nervous and at the same time very excited.
I hope to raise funds that will go towards healthcare in Southern Africa. As a trainee medical professional the development of healthcare is close to my heart. Having lost loved ones due to the prevailing situation of under resourced hospitals, I feel compelled to participate. We have seen the images of HIV and AIDS, cholera endemics, malnutrition and starvation but many of us have not witnessed it first hand, we can only imagine the pain and the struggle. I feel that it is time I made a contribution and now I am appealing to you to help me become an effective part of this movement.
I will keep you updated on my training progress and also tell you more about USPG itself. As it is my first marathon I am open to any suggestions and words of encouragement!!!

So far so good with the blistering winds in Inverness, snowstorms and icy paths I am managing still to continue with training. I am managing 10miles comfortably now so we are well on are way. Thank you very much for the continuing support.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: USPG:Anglicans in World Mission gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
