My story

My sons name is Jordan he is 6 years old and he was born with Bladder Exstrophy a very rare, congenital abnormality, there is no cure for this condition but it can be treated. It is a complex combination of disorders that affect the bladder, urethra,  and the pelvis.

The bladder is essentially inside out and exposed to the outside of the body. When he was born it was a big shock to our family and took time for us to come to terms with because we were unaware he had the condition prior to his birth. To date he has endured 4 major surgeries and 2 minor ops with more to go.
I have decided its about time I helped to raise some money for Great Ormond street....they need to raise £50m each year to carry on the life saving work they do, with out GOSH Jordan wouldnt be here so as a family we owe them a lot.  I have decided that I am gonna raise some money by getting a PIRATES / GOSH themed tattoo done as a tiny thankyou to GOSH. There is no cost involved in getting the tattoo done as I have been lucky enough to find a shop that is willing to do it with out charging me so every penny raised will go straight to the hospital. So please give as much as you can, I know times are tough at the moment but Dig Deep and give what you can....

Just to give you an idea of the difference you can make with your donation...

£7    Some patients cant get in and out of the bath themselves...£7 could pay for an assited bath.

£25  Playing is good for a sick childs recovery, £25 could pay for a specially addapted toy to aid rehabilitation.

£100 When kids are poorly all they want is mam & dad £100 could pay for 10 nights upkeep in on of the hospitals parent accommodation rooms.

£250 Play is good for you ! £250 Could pay for a new play room in the hospitals redeveloped site.

£798 Could buy a child the freedom to move around £798 could pay for a wheel chair and it accessories.

£2000 Respiration monitors are vital to help doctors monitor a childs breathing £2000 will pay for this important piece of equipment.
