Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well, after many years of sitting on the sofa every year in April watching the London Marathon on the TV, I find myself saying 'I am going to run the one day!' – well, now my chance has finally arrived.  I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry, when I found out I got a place, but with the realisation of achieving one of my lifetime ambitions means I’m really looking forward to the challenge.

However, the main motivation is to raise money for the Baby charity Tommy's, who fund, aid research and help people who have suffered the misfortune of miscarriages, premature and still births.  This sadly is something that has affected both Kristy and I personally, so I decided I wanted to do something amazing to help this charity, to help others for the future.  

I will also be running the Reading Half Marathon in March, as this will help with the marathon training, but also raise more money for Tommy's - so this page covers both events.
