Story

Dear friends,

While you’ve made it home after a long day at work, closed the curtains and cranked up the heating waiting for spring to arrive, a team of seven from Hudson’s Place have wrapped up to brave the icy air, snow, cold winds and rain to embark on their training for the 2010 London Marathon in the toughest winter in 30 years.

Our Pret Marathon Team comprises of:

Andrew Etuazim, Björn Welter, Brenda Lee Dove, Carlwin Smith, Dave Wilbor, Jessica Barker and Sianne  Jones.

Our dear friend and colleague Simon Hargraves was diagnosed with terminal cancer and tragically passed away last year, he was a true ambassador for Pret and is sadly missed.

It is in recognition of the care and support of charities such as Macmillan that we are aiming to raise over £15,000 to help us cross the finish line on 25th April 2010. It’s a fact of life that cancer will affect 1 in 3 of us throughout our lives. Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer, by providing practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.

In order to raise the £15,000 we would appreciate your financial support.

Thank you to all for your support.

Andrew, Björn, Brenda, Carlwin, Dave, Jess & Sianne.
