Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

OK... time is drawing near and i havent run in years.. bad times! We've also had no sponsorship yet, badder times! It's only 5k but i'm actually a little worried! Mark on the other hand has been a total geek and running 5k a few times a week. He has two full marathons next year (or whatever) but i secretly think he just wants to beat me!

Anyway...I've worked out that if everyone we invited on facebook sponsored just £5 each then we would make £1010!! Barlcays would match up to £750 of that so thats a total of £1760 for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign..also known as MDC... but i promise this isn't going into Marks pocket!

Therefore i challenge you to sponsor just £1 per kilometer in order to raise the huge total above!! £5 is a small amount for you but a massive difference to the charity.

Muscular dystrophy and related muscle diseases cause muscles to waste and weaken. More than 70,000 babies, children and adults in the UK are affected.

The MDC fund world-class research to find effective treatments and cures. They provide practical and emotional support to the children and families affected and are dedicated to improving the lives of all babies, children and adults affected by muscle disease. In addition award grants towards the cost of specialist equipment, such as powered wheelchairs.

This is a great charity and is also very close to our hearts, so sponsor away!!
