Team Hopwood is raising much-needed money for Maggie’s and Early Break with the #Hopwood1000. Starting on Monday 4th May, the mighty challenge will see staff, students and partners tackling a distance of 1,000 miles over the space of just two weeks in an effort to raise funds for two amazing causes.

We would like the donations to be split evenly between Maggie’s and Early Break. Maggie’s, the College charity of the year, provides free cancer support and information in centres across the UK. Meanwhile, Early Break supports the emotional health and wellbeing of children and young people affected by legal and illegal drugs, by the provision of counselling, support and treatment services.

The challenge will see people of all different abilities getting involved as our College community rack up the miles by either walking or running. We’d love as many people as possible to support us as we push ourselves to accomplish this daunting feat.

Please do donate and give what you can. Maggie’s and Early Break offer a vital lifeline for those in need and the money raised could make a big difference to people who benefit from their help and support.
